The Season Of Pentecost
Pentecost takes place on the 50th day after Easter Sunday. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in the Acts of the Apostles. The Season after Pentecost lasts the Monday after Pentecost until the Saturday before Advent. It is the time of the church; time to focus on getting about Gospel business, mission and service.

WELCA (Women of the ELCA) meets monthly on Wednesday at 12:00pm at the church. Check the calendar for dates. All women are invited and you may bring a lunch if you'd like.
